About Us – Our History

Playtime Paradsie Wraparound was first established as Gosforth Park Out of School Club in 1998 in Gosforth Park First School to provide out of school care for children at Gosforth Park First School, Broadway East First School, St Oswalds Catholic Primary School and Gosforth East Middle School.
During the covid pandemic the club continued to stay open for key worker children but split up into the three separate First and Primary schools on site to contain bubbles.
In September 2021 Gosforth Park opened their own in school club for their children and we continued to run two separate clubs at Broadway East and St Oswalds.
In April 2022 Broadway East moved premises to the Great Park and became Havannah FIrst School. They invited the out of school club to move with them.
In January 2024 the two managers, Natalie Johnson and Rachael Barnes took over both of the clubs and became the new Directors of the company. Later that year they changed the name and rebranded to Playtime Paradise Wraparound Ltd.
Following a request from the Head Teacher at St Bede’s Washington, Playtime Paradise Wraparound will be opening a third wraparound club in January 2025.
